SPHRi 

The Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHRi®) certification validates validates senior-level HR competency and mastery of generally accepted HR principles in strategy, policy development and service delivery in a single international setting. The certificate is for internationally based HR leaders who are strategic planners, have ultimate accountability in the HR department, have breadth and depth of knowledge in all HR disciplines and understand the business beyond the HR function and influences the overall organization.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a professional-level HR position with a Master’s degree or higher, OR
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional-level HR position with a Bachelor’s degree, OR
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in an professional-level HR position with a high school diploma

GPHR

The Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR®) is a global, competency-based credential that is designed to validate the skills and knowledge of an HR professional who operates in a global marketplace. The credential demonstrates mastery of cross-border HR responsibilities to include strategies of globalization, development of HR policies and initiatives that support organizational global growth and employer retention, creation of organizational programs, processes and tools that achieve worldwide business goals.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of global experience in a professional-level HR position with a Master’s degree or higher, OR
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience (with 2 of the 3 being global HR experience) in a professional-level HR position with a Bachelor’s degree, OR
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience (with 2 of the 4 being global HR experience) in a professional-level HR position with less than a Bachelor’s degree

PHRi

The Professional in Human Resources – International (PHRi®) is a global, competency-based credential that is designed to validate professional-level core HR knowledge and skills. The PHRi, for internationally based practitioners, validates professional-level competency, knowledge and skills to help to propel your HR career forward. With the PHRi, you demonstrate mastery of generally accepted technical and operational HR principles in a single international setting.

  • A minimum of 2 years of professional-level experience in an HR position with a Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent, OR

SHRM-SCP / SHRM-CP

SHRM-SCP certification is designed for HR professionals at a senior level who operate primarily in a strategic role—developing policies and strategies, overseeing the execution of HR operations, analyzing performance metrics, and/or contributing to the alignment of HR strategies to organizational goals.
SHRM-CP certification is designed for HR practitioners who are engaged primarily in an operational role—implementing policies, serving as the HR point of contact for staff and stakeholders, and/or performing day-to-day HR functions. If this is your focus, the SHRM-CP is likely your best option, even if you meet the eligibility criteria for the SHRM-SCP.

UAE Labour Law & HR Policies
